Read the full document to find out more: [PDF] Membership Information SOBA is a nonprofit organization with over 100 members ranging from state and territorial agencies, boating organizations, consulting firms, and corporations. Voting Membership – $600 Voting Membership State Officals responsible for boating facility administration, design, and/or construction in State, its commonwealths and territories. Two affiliated Professional Memberships are provided however, each state, commonwealth, or territory is allowed only one vote on SOBA issues brought before the membership. Additional people can be added for $50.00 each. (see below) Associate Membership – $500 Firms, corporations, interested businesses, or associations desiring to assist SOBA in its objectives. Advisory Membership – $300 Federal agencies, local units of government, nonprofit organizations, and other countries with an interest in SOBA’s mission. Individual Membership – $125 A person wishing to support SOBA who is not connected with an agency, association, or business affiliations involved in recreational boating programs. Members in this category will receive any and all services provided by SOBA to the membership. Affiliated Professional Membership – $50 Additional individual memberships associated with the voting, associate and advisory memberships. The additional members will be included on the membership lists and receive any and all services provided by SOBA to the membership.
